| '''g00ns''' is a group of raiders/ragers/trolls/hackers/coders which was founded by z3r0 on 6/30/04. It has a long history, and recently has been involved with the *chan scene. This is mainly due to waawaa pushing the issue with z3r0 who saw the greatness of two groups working together. (g00ns and the insurgency) Some may say that the g00ns may be a rip group of myg0t however make note that none of the g00ns have tried, or have ever been in myg0t. They are however on some levels, part of the same scene.

| There was a raid on g00ns in late November 2007 when /i/ was based on partyvan.org (before g00ns linked with /i/). Although their forums were flooded, the bandwidth rape (I believe) failed. This is probably what lead to the link between link between /i/ and g00ns.

| Many /i/nsurgents do not look to kindly toward g00ns. Anonymous looks down on namefaggotry, whereas g00ns look down on anonymity. Most of this hatred is mere bitterness due to the Hal Turner anniversary raid having a large focus on g00ns drama as opposed to prank calls. Some have also criticized g00ns for having attention whore Angyl in their group, who is also a member of Diditforthelulz, responsible for DDoSing 4chan. Some 4channers still think g00ns are responsible for this.

| Despite all of this, g00ns have undeniably contributed a lot to /i/ in a short amount of time. Most notably, the Hal Turner, GoddessMine and Emo-Corner raids.
