Oh yes, deadly indeed. They have been known to cause havoc on the Internets then blame it on poor old 4chan. Ebaums World is an enemy that should be feared (by the average person). Although, it is possible to fight back, just buy a dog!

Origin of their name
Their name comes from their secret website, where everyone who posts is required to post as "eBaum". This evolved into a "meme" or a communist-anti-american joke, when they threatened to blow up over 9000 football stadiums.
eBaums v.s. the internets
eBaums likes to vandalize articles on Dramatica and the /i/nsurgency w/i/ki to make it seem like the *chans are responsible for the raids. Also, it has been observed that while in raids they will commonly mutter phrases like "/b/lackup". This term is trying to put the blame on /b/ of 4chan.

Respectable, American, right winged (right winged = American, and good) news source, FAWKEZ NEUZ, has done a report on eBaums World. They call them "4chan" but it is really eBaums, because eBaums just vandalizes and blames other communities. watch the newz here

This video is very correct (I know this because of my learnings). They even highlight eBaum's old logo "Destroy, die, attack". Did you know that eBaums has stolen one mans SEVEN DIFFERENT PASSWORDS? A true hate machine.
