Lulz: A Corruption of LOL (soundtrack)

Lulz: A Corruption of LOL is a soundtrack containing all the meme songs that have come to be as of this time, January 2008. The project was started independently by an /i/nsurgent who upon realizing just how many songs there are posted to 420chan's /m/usic board, which allows music file uploads. A post was made to /ic/ on 4chan for album art. The project is finished for now, though of course there are always flaws and one day we might make a Disk V.

12/28/08: Disk 4 is finished. Organized everything, tagged it with correct artists, track numbers, album and song name, track number and even tagged it with the appropiate album art. This should be the final version, great job. Now if someone can reupload this plus the 3 other discs for the entire collection download below that'd be great.

Barackroll doesn't have a track number associated with it. also: is requiem for a tower really 47minutes long? 'Ready To Die' cuts off early too. :P

^: Alright, I'll check the Barack Roll and Requiem Of a Tower says its that long but it isn't, may redownload it. As for RTD blame iTunes. Plays fine in VLC and when you skip somewhere pass 1:24 in it it'll play just fine. I may redownload that as well unless someone can do it before me.

iTunes sucks dick. "Ready To Die" cuts out in iTunes but it plays fine on my iTouch. :/

01/01/2009: Okay, I have re-made the compilation. I fixed the Ready To Die-issue once and for all, all issues with the track numbering and some tags that got fucked up somewhere. This is probably the final version. I have replaced the download link as well.

01/01/2009 Not quite, seems a few songs are missing. Tracks 9, 11, 13 aren't there and for some reason they won't open up in iTunes. I went and fixed everything but now for some reasn Barack Roll isn't working, I re-downloaded it but iTunes just refuses to fucking play it.

01/05/2009 Just downloaded disk 4 off the rapidshit link, everything works fine for me, tracks 9, 11, and 13 are there, however there's something strange about the barackroll track... It works fine for me in amarok except that there's no song lenght associated with it... i don't know if maybe this is something that's the cause of problems for itunes fags but it's something to look at i guess. (Also, if i owned a windows or mac i would test this myself but i'm %100 linux fag so someone else needs to look at it.)

01/1/07/2009 Apparently these problems aren't universal. Looks like they just vary randomly, the best way to solve this would to I guess, legally get a song if possible. I uploaded the Rapidshit Disc 4 link and I used flvto.com which seems to not work so well but for our purposes it seems alright. Also, Caramelldansen works fine for me.

It seems all of thse problems are because of the media player, not the song. Try playing it in other media players such as VLC or Media Player Classic. If it's just te media player and not the song fuck it.
