Privacy is essentially whether or not others can see what you're doing. As an anon you must know (at the very least) the basics of privacy and, more importantly, remaining anonymous.

How to keep your privacy[edit]

Proxies[edit]

Always use proxies. This is the most important thing, because a proxy hides your real IP from being seen by others while surfing the internet. Tor is another alternative as well, except for the fact that Tor is incredibly slow.

Pseudonyms[edit]

Another thing to do in order to protect your privacy is to always use pseudonyms. Never use your real name anywhere on the internet, lest someone look it up and find out everything about you.

A "pseudonym" is essentially a fake name or an unrelated nickname that you only use on the internets. It is vital because your real name is tied to your address, phone number, social security number, and everything any sort of authority figure could use against you for what you do online.
