I must say that I don't see this going too well. Anonymous isn't a "religion" as much as it is something of a hivemind created from multitudes of similar-minded individuals working towards a goal. Kind of a mini version of the Gaia theory (not the faggot website, the actual Gaia theory).
Religion Status[edit]
The courts have upheld that the government should stay out of deciding what is or isnt a religion. Government agencies are not experts in theology and should not determine the validity or fallacy of any system of beleifs. The IRS does have a list of criteria that they use to determine whether or not an organization should be granted tax free status. Those criteria are: 1. a distinct legal existence, 2. a recognized creed and form of worship, 3. a definite and distinct ecclesiastical government, 4. a formal code of doctrine and discipline 5. a distinct religious history, 6. a membership not associated with any other church or denomination, 7. an organization of ordained ministers, 8. ordained ministers selected after completing prescribed studies, 9. a literature of its own, 10. established places of worship, 11. regular congregations, 12. regular religious services, 13. schools for religious instruction of the young, 14. school for the preparation of its ministers.

Hate to bring in Chanology shit, but if you need all of that crap to become IRS recognized religion, how the fuck did Scientology get tax free status? It sounds like it should be easy enough to BS our way to tax free status if we really wanted it (including signatures and "church leaders", cause we could get some people to namefag). Not that we really want to make this IRL... (from what I understand)

- Very good point. The point of this thing shouldn't be bashing other religions. Taking a few potshots at the Christfags is okay with me, but that shouldn't make up the main body of the religion.
