Basics:

1. Do not give out users IPs or emails

4. Do not add o:lines without the agreement of the council (sup NekoArc)
5. Do not use superadmin, operoverride, or samode to change channel settings or modes, unless there is a legitimate need.

NickServ Lost Password Policy

In the event that a nickname password has been lost, please make use of /ns sendpass. If they do not have an email set, they’re out of luck.

If the account was “compromised”, verify the correct owner using /ns info, /whowas, #spk-log, and any other resources you may have available to you.
